Dear sirs:

My name is Jim Angell and I am the executive director of the Wyoming Press Association.

It has come to my attention you have been maintaining a Web page ostensibly on behalf of the Thermopolis Independent-Record. This page is being maintained without the input or support of the Independent-Record and apparently is being kept up despite your differences with the newspaper. May I suggest that if you indeed have decided to "no longer support, endorse and donate our bandwidth" to the Independent-Record, then it is probably time for you to take the page off of the Internet. The Independent-Record is working on its own Web site now and has no problem with the removal of the page you put up.

I would also question your use of the WPA's logo without our permission.

I'm sure that the removal of this page would resolve any differences and help avoid any unpleasantness.

Thank you
Jim Angell
Executive Director
Wyoming Press Association

Our Response;

Dear Mr. Angell,

    We do not maintain the said website "on behalf" of the Thermopolis Independent Record newspaper. It is our view of a newspaper that lends itself to destroy the lives of the local citizens it claims to serve, protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution , thus we do not seek "input or support" from this newspaper. We also wish the Independent Record success with it's own website. The Wyoming Press Association logo has been removed from the site so as not to cause any further controversy with the Wyoming Press Association.
